"99 cav 2.2- used engine installed. runs rough, especially when cold. Guy at tire shop says it sounds like valve(s) sticking. I have a code for "misfire on #3". Is a compression check the only way to check this? While checking compression- do I need to disable the fuel injectors?
Yes disable the fuel injectors by pulling the fuse labeled PCM in the under hood fuse box.
