Maybe I should have my fabricator make them. My aluminum one turned out really well.

Notice on the plastic one, how it enlarges at the end of the holes so hoses don't POP off...any chance of working that into the aluminum one you made?
Agreed-that is nice! Whay not just drill the needed hole in the 2.3 housing? That housing is nice, but seems like more work than needed and probably pricier.....
DSM-what size plug(size and thread) did you use for your plug?
I used 3/8" NPT plug for it.

I have to go look at the housing again at work, but did you also block off a bigger hole? It looks like thee angled hole was for the sensor, a big hose barb would fit the heater hose, big one is obvious;y rad hose, a small barb for the overflow/vent, and then I think there's a spare hole about the size of the heater hose, right? or did i just forget that another hose hooks up to there...... engine has been apart for awhile.
OK, mine is done! Well, kinda. I have to find a bigger end for the heater hose port. My plug ended up being a 5/8 set scew ground down a bit. I'll see if i can get pics up this weekend.
DSM-what did you end up using for ther heater core hose connection?

I don't have a picture of it completed because it's on my car and I don't feel like messing with it unless I have to.

The plug is 3/8" not.

I used a 5/8-18 or a 5/8-16 tap(i have to check) to make the threads for my plug. Mine was one from Rockauto not thru GM, but I imagine the hole has to be close to the same. I just need to get somewhere to find a connector for my heater core hose.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are pushlock barbs?
