what is the oil pressure supposed to be on a 98 cavalier 2.2.
Cuz my is on 10,or 9 psi, warm idle.
And when im on the highway it 65 psi
So can anyone help plz

10 psi at a million RPM? Seems a bit low to me.

around 4-8 psi at idle would be fine and safe, when hot

doesnt need to be high

most oil pressure senders and guages arent very accurate anyways though

as long as you have some kind of pressure at idle then it be fine

especially if no tapping/ticking, or worse, noise

no ticking other than normal injectors ticking that is
