I looked at this car today. The car has the 3 speed and 2.2 liter engine. Steel wheels, the tack strip is busted in the corner as usual, (rear sail panel is unstapled), but no water damage. Needs new multiswitch It has the perforated white pleather.
Car is clean, starts right up, but didn't drive due to the transmission issue.
What do you guys think? Is it time to add a second vert to the stable?

better plan on doing a motor and trans swap. that 2.2ohv and 3sp has a hard enough time pushing a lighter coupe. imagine what it would be like in a drop top lol
Yeah, I was thinking I would just fix it and ride it around until I finished the other one, then unload it. Four cars may be a bit too many in the driveway though, for the wife atleast.

its a good find for that price. talk him down to 500 and buy it. if nothing else you can take the good parts (such as seats) and swap them into your car and toss a tranny in there and sell it for double what youve got into it.
Makes me wonder how the white top would look on the red car and the new black top and my black katzkins would look in this car.

looks just like how it did in my car ! lol
I took a look at it during the day. The leather is absolutely destroyed, windows need adjusting because they aren't closing straight, tires are about gone, scrapes on passenger side and weather strip is falling off on one side.
If I didn't already have a 2.2 convertible I would jump all over it. Right now best offer on it is $500 is anyone wants to drive out here.
