Im doing this swap, and have done alot of reading about machining the flywheel. The F body flywheel has to machined on the front side where the clutch sits down to .840 total thickness correct?

Get one for a Fiero 3800 swap. I had the F-body unit machined to .840" when I put the 5 speed in my GP and had to take it apart and have it machined again because the shop didn't machine it quite right. Also, the .840" measurement is from the crankshaft mounting surface to the clutch mounting surface...so the back of the flywheel to the clutch face side. It's just easier and more cost effective to buy the right unit though.
