Ok im working on a sig for a buddy of mine and I want it to come out perfect.
heres what I have so far


My question is .. how do I get just the car on the sig. I dont want any of the background from the pic on the sig??? How is that possible. Ive been told to just erase it but theirs got to be a better way plus I see other peoples sigs and it looks perfectly smooth no edges from the eraser

Need a really high res picture, then use the polygonal lasso tool in Photoshop to outline the car carefully. Hit inverse selection and click "Delete".

Or use the pen tool, I find it much nicer.

^^ Agreed, Pen tool Is Alot nicer to use, you dont end up with a "squarish" selection.

press q for quick mask. then "paint" the car in the red color it gives you. select invesrse and delete
