Resizing a bunch of images
Wednesday, June 01, 2005 3:27 PM
I am using photoshop 6 and I have recorded an action to resize my photos from my digi cam to 800x600. Then it exports them for the web.

When I run the batch process on the directory my photos are in it doesn't want to change the file names, and tries to save over the image. Is there a way to avoid this?

I tried saving them to a different directory but when I go to run on another folder of images it can't find the folder that I saved to whne creating the action and tries to name the file the old directory name .jpg

Any help is appreciated.

or just save the pictures in another folder as well. then resize the originals. then you have the secondary coppied pictures to keep original size...so who cares then if the resized ones get coppied over...if that makes sense
