Larry the Cable Guy Pic (Needs modification)

Ok guys so i am making a t-shirt and i want to put this pic on the back. The only problem is theres a few things i want to get rid of but i dont have the proper programs to do it.
I wanted to know if someone could delete the blue background so that its all white, Get rid of the 'larry the cable guy' title across the top, and also get rid of the 'dvd' and 'live' symbols at the bottom.
Also, you dont have to, but if possible could you resize the pic so its some where around 8"x10.5"

Thanks to whoever can do this for me, i would really appreciate it.

no

first and foremost

that image is copyrighted.

secondly in order to take the larry the cable guy off someone would have to remake those parts of his hat and it would look like crap

thirdly you can not RESIZE an image to be bigger without it looking absolutely HORRIBLE

Unless your selling the shirts I can't see there being copyright issues, though I'm probably wrong.

copyright does not only apply to selling.

something is copyrighted for the USE of the design/photo/artwork. so wether you are selling it or not you would have to contact the photographer/dvd company etc to PURCHASE the rights to USE the image. if you ARE selling it than you have to PURCHASE the rights to use and distribute the image and will most likely involve royalties goign back to the original photographer/dvd etc.

and if that is not done than it is copyright infringement, wether you are selling or not.

you can use that image for your own personal use.....like making your own JBO logo, as long as you are not selling it for profit, then your fine

not true...you can use your own JBO logo because Dave says its ok too. if he wanted to he could make everyone remove the stickers from their cars because he owns rights to it. There a lots of vinyl shops out there that wont even print a fosgate or MTX sticker for people because it is copyright.

example. car club i was in. the owner of the design had gone and took a razor blade to someones sticker on their car because he was a douche bag and was talkn @!#$ about the people in the club behind their backs. so the sticker was ruined. and was removed by the owner of the car soon there after. the kid tried to sue the owner because he ruined his sticker and said it was vandalized. the judge said that because the owner of the rights to the sticker did in fact own those rights that removal was his choice. and there for the other kid could do nothing about it. sad...but true.

peace

thanks qwikslvr00. THats all i wanted. I understand that some people are weird about touching stuff thats copyrighted. but come on. Its all in good fun. Im not selling it, im just trying to make a shirt. Thanks Again.

to be honest, it is copyright infringement. but the you probably won't get in trouble.

qwikslvr00 you did do a good job, but the lower right of the shirt could have been better, it's smuggy. i'm not trashin your work, just some critisism.

i know i wouldn't want someone to take my logo and slap it on a t-shirt, then again larry the cable guy doesn't seem to give a damn about too much. anyway, good luck with the shirt if you're going thru with it.
