turning black to another color isn't easy or quick to do. you'd be better off finding a red or other bright colored truck of the same kind and having someone chop the banner and wheels onto it.

Thanks guys guys it actually a bit simple I just had to change the hue, brightness and contrast untill I got a light grey colour then I just clicked colourise and changed it to red. I screwed up on the trim and stuff, I was selecting the wrong side of all the trim pieces but you get the idea anyway.

i know you guys are using photoshop but is there some kind of plugin to change the color on vehicles..the shades look so prefect

No, there is no plugin that you need as far as I know, the adjustment settings come with all versions of photoshop just go to image>adjustments>and then hue and saturation to change the colour, shading and darkness, and you can use the brightness/contrast to fine tune everything.
