Requirements when asking for chops

When asking for the kind people here in I.M. to do a shop for you please follow some basic rules that will improve the quality and timeliness of your shop being completed.

When asking for sigs:
remember great sigs come from great pictures- the better your pictures the better the sig.
-you MUST post all pictures you would like to see in your sig. We do this on our free time we don't want to follow a link and try to find pictures or go through your registry.
-try to post only "whole" pictures(no parts of the car are cut off)
-tell us what text you want in your sig

When asking for chops:
The better the pictures are- the better the chop will be.
-You MUST post a picture of your car AND the donor car or car part. We do this in our free time and we don't want to go searching for a picture of your car or the body kit, wing etc you want chopped onto your car.
-BOTH pictures must be at approximately the same angle

When asking for marketing material (banners, flyer's, logos etc.):
-what do you need the marketing material (banner, flyer's, logo etc) for?
-in this case we don't need ALL the pictures you want in it, give some suggestions but allow us to have some creative freedom.
-we need to know ALL text you want and if you need a certain color scheme

Image manipulation to the people here is something we love to do and enjoy. However, We do have jobs and lives of our own. Shops are completed in our spare time and out of the kindness of our hearts.

When wanting a chop of a car with rims, wing, body kit, etc, make sure the car and the part needed (even rims) are at, or very close to, the same angle

it was just a thought i was thinking of. I thought if you had to be premium to get a sig made it would incourage people to join... it was just a thought that i posted in another thread. dont worry...

you made a request for a sig in the appropriate thread and you will get one made. sometimes it takes time.... we do this in our free time.

Here is a how-to on ROTATING SIGS posted by duaLife

duaLife wrote:Recently I was asked how to do rotating sigs, so I decided to post it here. If you've ever seen these, these are sigs like mine for when you click the refresh button it changes to another random sig that you have hosted somewhere. These are simple to do and don't require any knowledge on your behalf of how any scripting or programming works.

First of all, make sure you have at least 2 sigs or having a rotating script is kind of pointless. You can have as many as you'd like, but I limited myself to 9. Have all your sigs hosted somewhere, like the org or any other place you currently have your sigs at.

After you have the names of the directories to where your pictures are at (example: http://www.j-body.org/members/soldjha/sig1.jpg, http://www.j-body.org/members/soldjha/sig2.jpg, etc.), write them all down and go to <a href="http://www.hostedscripts.com/randomimage.html">this website</a>. This is Hosted Scripts, a website that lets you remotely use certain scripts, one of them being a rotating .php script. You will have to sign up to be a member, which takes no time at all and is of course free. After you have signed up, click on the link on the left which says Random Image, or simply click back on the link above.

Once you are signed in and have clicked on the Random Image link, you should be at a page that at the top says Home and Change the Random URL's. Below this should be a description of what the script does, and a white box contatining the link for your script. Do not type in this box, this is for your link, not what you are linking to.

Click on Change the Random URL's. You will have a box where you type in each URL for your signatures. For instance, I would first type in the box http://www.j-body.org/members/soldjha/sig1.jpg. You are not required to put any quotation marks or brackets around your URL, just type it in and press the Enter button to move to the next line and type a new URL. Do not type more than one URL per line, because the script recognizes a new entry when you press the Enter key. Also, you can have different URL's, it's not a problem. You can have some from J-Body and some from Imageshack, or they could all be different, it doesn't matter.

Once you are done typing in the URL's for all of your images, click Update URL's. This will take you back to the previous screen. In the white box at the bottom will be the link for your Random Image script. It should read something along the lines of http://members.hostedscripts.com etc. Copy this link and paste it to where you would usually put your sig at. Test it out, make sure you typed in your URL's for your sigs right, and you should be good to go.

if you uploaded it to one of the free sites mentioned they should provide you with the link right after you upload it.

try uploading it at http://www.imageshack.ws and once you upload it, imageshack will give you a bunch of codes for it. use the one for "forums".
