thank you so much!
looks great in my opinion!
thats all i needed, a general "how it would look"

now the hard part. deciding which one i like better!

everypne likes the Enkei's over the Tenzo's so far, huh?
i wanna go for that clean idk what you would call it
JDM/EDM maybe just DSM has their own look??

i have the 16" O.Z. 10th anneversary rims as stocks, not these as pictured.

none of these eclipses are mine pictured. haha

these are the rims it has [also not mine!]

was thinking about picking up another set if i could find them cheap, and painting these O.Z. ones bronze.
and finding another set of tail lights, and LIGHTLY tinting them [dont wanna mod the stock parts in case i wanna
go back - special edition eclipse]

I'm partial to the first ones, they're very similar to the ones I had on my Sunfire I'm not a fan of the way the spokes meet the lip on the stock or the 2nd set.

the second ones are a bigger, bronze version of the stock normal eclise i just noticed.

and the tenzo's are a less spoked bronze version of the OZ racing edition eclispe that i currently have.

hahaa, way to keep it stock looking for me! haha

well, most say the enkei's.

mite just go with them, they are wayyy cheaper/more affordable.
its hard tho, because i think they are both beautiful wheels on the clipse!

next question would be, tire rack says i can fit up to 19's on it.
i dot wanna do that big, im lookin at either 17's or 18's. what you guys think?
im leaning more towards 17's, but dunno how it will look better 18's or 17's.
im a visual person, and tirerack just dont do it for me. wanna see 17's and 18's in person, lol.

SO WHAT I WANNA KNOW [MORE OPINIONS]

rim option number one: tenzo's

or

rim option number two: enkei's

and 17" or 18" ??

not officially mine, as long as it aint sold by tomorrow,
it should be as good as mine! [as long as it looks as
good as it does in the few pics i saw on craigslist!!!

one question, i heard the chrysler motor is lame, but how
lame is it really? or is it decent? i heard comparable to the old 2200's.
that they dont have a ton of power, but they are indestructable???

couple of questions before you buy

auto/man
4cyl / v6
miles
history
inspect before you buy
if he saies "aftermarket" anything make him show reciepts
open the oil cover *if on top of the engine* and peek down inside to see condition
check oil/tranny fuilds
and test drive with no radio on to make sure you don't hear anything grinding/power steering

and never tell them how much money you have in your pocket say eh i think its worth -500 to 1000 less then what they are asking.

carfax would be awesome but some wont want to buy it off the website, if they wont get a carfax dont buy
better to spend 15bucks on a piece of paper then 5g on a car and get a lemon

well, i already know. its a 4cyl.
its a manual, has 58,4XX miles on it.
brand new clutch - he says its about 2-3 weeks old - has reciept
newer spark plugs and wires, fresh oil change
everything else is stock. according to what this guy says.

still have to get some info on the history, gonna talk to him
about all that when i go and liik it over. i always do a thourrough [sp?]
inspection of anything before i buy it. paint, rust, interior, suspension, brakes,
how the motor runs, how it drives...all that stuff, and if i like it, i still then
take it to my mechanic, and then to my body shop, and if it checks out,
then i decide on making the purchase. but for the money, if everything
checks out good, im deff jumping on it!

^^ i do like the stock look tho!

thats y it was between those two!
still cant decide, hahaha

but sadly that eclispe sold before i saw it..

it was only $3000, because he needed it gone by the weekend.

found one just like it with some mods [not original like the first one]
but its an automatic, not the manual. so i will have to look at it.
...he wants $5000 for his.

I dont care what anyone says...those non turbo Eclipses are never worth what the people want to try and sell them for. As far as I'm concerned they are the bastard child of the DSM line and not in fact a "true" DSM

2nd wheels.

i agree that the eclipses arent worth what most people try to sell them for, but saying they arent a true dsm just because they dotn hve the 4g63 means you are very misinformed.

dsm:diamond star motors was named that because of the combination of mitsubish(diamond logo) and chrysler(pentastar logo) to which eventually became mitsubishi motor manufacturing of america(MMMA).

just because it doenst have a crappy, overrated motor that everyone glorified because of the fast and furious culture doenst make it any less of a dsm.
