I have the chrome LS Sport 16" wheels and would like to paint them white and a color of some sort, i did two quick shops of green and purple, if anyone can change the color as you please then choose which one looks best, please no white with black because white/black combos are over played here
the original pic

heres the white base I started with if its easier

heres my favorite, green

and the purple

OR keep the chrome and just do the inset part a color? I vote black, gold, or something neutral. BUT, if you want a bright color, I say go with your idea, but keep the face chrome instead of white.

If the car's white, I picture black, white, or gold being the best accent colors if you 2-tone your rims. But I still say to keep the faces chrome or polished as they are now.

How hard is it to actually paint over the chrome? Has anyone pulled it off successfully? I've thought about doing this many times but always came to the same conclusion that the chrome plating would be too hard of a surface for the paint to actually stick to.
