the GTO test drive didnt do it. the window crank removal tool scandal didnt do it. but leave it to me to show one of my buddies in the service dept. my intake, which just happens to have a nitrous nozzle in it. they said i was going to blow up my engine, burn in hell, and i certainly wasnt getting any service work.... ever.

I'm not sure I follow the post, except the guy seeing the nitrous lines. So no warrenty work, or none at all because they're scared!???

You're either an idiot or you're trolling.

i dont get it either. why no service work?

if you have to take your car in for warrenty work. and they dont do it because of the nitrous, just mention the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act. basically it states the dealship has to prove the nitrous kit, intake, or any other aftermarket part caused the problem

Belive me they can void the warranty without prooving that the aftermarket parts caused the problem. GM has had a lot of problems with aftermarket accesories, especialy oiled airfilters.

thats crap right there. that Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act is a law. and if they dont follow that law, then they can get into trouble

Well unless you live in a one horse town, there other places to go, and just becasue they seen that stuff doesnt give them the right to deny service, warrenty or otherwise.

I wouldnt give my business to a place like that anyways.

If it says it in the warrenty contract and you sign it, they can deny you service. Otherwise, they can't do anything about it unless they can prove it caused it.

I know that J cars dont have a MAF. The airfilter was listed as an example. GM can and has refused to honor warranty on cars with any modification between the IAT and last O2 sensor. This would include intake systems.

i am sure he is talking about the manufatures warrenty the one u get when you buy the car

i have been through this first off they can not void your warrentty if u use something like a k&n air filter

everytime i did something like when i did my stereo they said any electrical problems i would have will not be covered by it.
then i started moding the engine and they voided that
then i did the exhaust and they voided the corrosion warrenty
