Is there any place I could plug the line into rather than splicing? Like on the Ecotecs there's that little cap that's hella easy to get to that runs right along the engine on the drivers side! ANY help is appreciated

Well, I don't have a 2200, but I've heard the best place to tap fuel for the 2200 is off the schrader valve.

thats what he said..... if you can find a little valve with a cap on it... go for it.... i'm not positive if the 2200 has one though. if not, i would just put a t-tap in the rubber fuel hose somewhere.

Ok.. so if her were to tap into the hose, He'd need to know "Which" hose to tap into. I know i have (2) hoses on my 2.4 going to the fuel rail. sooooo Does anyone know which line he would be tapping into? Also if any of you know which line to tap into for a 2.4, that information would be much appreciated as well.. I'll install my nitrous in a few months. and I wanna get all the stuff installed

But no one really answered his question on here, I'd answer it for him but i cannot find my chilton's to give him the answer.

well he can do a few things for fuel. He can try and tap the rail. or he can splice into the supply line going to the fuel rail.
I believe the 2.4 have a schrader valve already like the ECOS have. so just use that little guy for all your fuel needs.

Cool i'll do that. will a nitrous line just thread on that valve? I guess i should take off the cap and look. LOL haha since my z24's sitting undrivable. LOL haha

Anyone know on a '02 2200 which fuel line is the high pressure line to tap into? that's the information that Jamal needs and it looking for. as well as the location of it.

on the 2nd pic where the green top is move right a couple of inches and the copper piece that goes to your fuel is where u tap it should be two line the one on the top is where u tap its the high pressure one or ask fuel injection specialist but thats what they told me only prob is the tee u have maybe to small it's a common prob I went to a plumping parts store and got one a size bigger for a tighter fit hope that helps

the high pressure (feed) line you need to splice into is the line going into the side of the fuel rail. the metal line coming off the fpr (the vac line you are pulling on in the pic is for your fpr) is your return line which is low pressure.

^^ you asking me to snap shots of the full engine pics? If so do you need those with the fuel rail cover off, or on? I have about 6 pics with it on already and can have those uploaded and on ehre by early afternoon! Thnx alot for the help everyone!

Once I get the right info I'm posting this in the sticky at the top w/ good pics to eliminate hardcore questions and searches! I'll include pics from 04 Eco LS Sports install he provided, and of course my intall, and a couple other engine shots! Hopefully I can get some from a z24 provided by Nitro or Troll, if you ever find it! Haha!

On a 2.4, the high pressure line is the 3/8th inch line. The return line is only 5/16th and is low pressure, don't use it. And for the love of Pete, don't cut the rubber section of the line. Hose barbs and clamps are not a good idea on a fuel system that sees almost 50 psi! Use a tubing cutter to cut the aluminum section of the line, and put in a swagelok or parker T fitting.

Even Illustrated them for you that way you wont get confused. You'res should be just like my '99.. Im not aware of any design changes in the motor. SO GET TO CUTTIN' AND GET THE NITROUS IN MAN!!!

Man, that sucks, doesn't look like a whole lot of line to splice into, but that pic is definately labeled right anyway.

I would splice right where he says in the pic nitro is right they do not give you much to work with ---- I cannot beleave chevy did not take nitrous into consideration when designing the 2200

Sup troll...The schrader valve on fuel lines usually looks like the threaded part of a valvestem. The ones on ac lines are lot bigger and run to the compressor, condenser, evaporator core, accumulator/receiver-dryer. The schrader valves for the fuel are usually on the fuel rail or lines directly off of the fuel rail. I know my car dosn't have a schrader valve for my fuel. (97 2.2 ohv)

yeah I figured that it would be on the end of the fuel rail... the way it's always described. Just wanna know where to look to find it.
