Monday, May 23, 2005 10:40 PM
Ok i've bought a "dry" compucar N20 kit with out the bottle, i got an NOS bottle and i know i'm going to need an -AN fitting or something took hook the line to the bottle but i have a few questions for you nitrous guys
1 with the kit i have received the fallowing
Solenoid(1)
Plastic N20 line
Toggle arming switch
WOT switch
Jets
LED arming light

>>>QUESTIONS
Is a Plastic nitrous line a good idea??!?

Is the above everything i will need besides the -AN fitting to hook up the
nitrous kit?

And if anyone has dry kit install pics that'd be great too

I have alot of pics of my set up --- it is a wet kit so it will be a little different from yours --- I do not know if a plastic n20 line is a bad idea but if there is a crack or something in it you will waste alot of nitrous--

I wouldn't chance it with plastic n2o lines, not that itll do much if it cracks besides waste n2o, but i have a rubber hose for my purge and if I purge for like 5-7 seconds it gets rock hard cuz its so frozen

1 selenoid. I have 2. A n2o and a fuel selenoid. I'm confused. I thought that was a dry kit. Does a dry kit come with a fuel selenoid?

the "plastic" line is prob a vacum line.

a relay
a main feed line
bottle
nozzle
nitrous line to go from noid to nozzle

can you take any pictures of it

i hope you didnt pay much for this kit....

if your spraying n20 and fuel you gotta wet kit, so if you have both solenoids and a shark for the two yes you have a wet kit.

haha i'm so stupid. I spent forever researching n2o kits online and I know the difference. When i ordered my kit I thought it was dry (i wanted wet) but it was cheap so i figured oh well i'll run a small shot.
