I wouldn't use those two jets together... a 42 is around a 75 hp shot (when used as a nitrous jet) and a 31 is around a 35 hp... also as nitrous jet. I wouldn't use either as a fuel jet... I usually use 22 for fuel with my 42 nitrous... and I've never gone as low as a 35 hp shot

Of course, all depends on what fuel pressure you're running...

With my dry NOS setup:

30 = 40hp
32 = 50hp
34 = 60hp

ETC...

From some site with a jet calculator

.032" = 45fwhp
.034" = 50fwhp
.036" = 60fwhp
.042" = 80fwhp
.047" = 100fwhp

its been along time since I had my NOS N2O kit on........ but I remember my 100 shot being a .047" I think......

jet calculator
I just pluged in 1 for the jet count, since it is a single jet fogger, not direct port.

Holy sh!t, If that calculator is right, then I think I've officially run the largest shot of nitrous on a stock Z24 EVER! 100 shot? Not according to the calculator. It says I'm running a 136.61 HP shot with my size 55 nitrous jet and 29 fuel jet. with bottle pressure at 900 psi and 50 psi of fuel pressure. And I only run 900 psi bottle pressure on the street. On the track it goes up to 1050, ouch! That calculator has to be wrong ( I hope)
