umm gm wasnt even close to a 300 shot before they blew it up......

And the eco WONT take 125 shot.

when gm tested the motor it put out 168hp without nitrous and it broke at 283 hp at 4400 rpm

at that time all 4 tods blew threw the block. Thats on an engine dyno in perfect conditions. I know for a fact that at least 2 people have blown up there ecotecs with a 100 shot. It handles it but its pushing it.

It was like

haha that's either for a 50shot or I'm just plain wrong but have a nice day! (I think for a 75shot the fuel was 54 and the nitrous was 36? I have no idea anymore)

naw man. thats not a nitrous shot. thats some

When they did it I don't believe it was on a stock mani. Either no stock mani or it was a direct port system. They had to bypass the puddling issues and then the engine could take a good dose of N2o. Plus, what all broke in the eco? A rod or 3? Throw on some Eagle H-beams, cometic Head Gasket, 9:1 Forged Pistons, and you'll be pretty stout to handle some spray. Then again, the eco handles just about anything after those few mods haha!

they dont say wether it was stock moni or not but i think it was. They used a dry kit with engine managment to tune it

and why go with 9 to 1 nitrous likes a lil higher compression ratio stock 10 to one would be fine
and the rods break first

Just look at the ecotec build book it tells you exactly what you need to run a 150 shot, gives you all part numbers and tells you what companies you can buy them from and gives a quick how too to do so. I'll get the link if I have time. Just search its free too

I just find it funny that Dino hasn't posted since to prove himself right and left us to prove him wrong and full of it.

I ran a 10.1 in the 1/4 @ 121mph on a 500 shot on "stock internals".
