If I ever see a J-body purge, and it's not actually running juice, I'll personally slap the owner. People like that are why other's think we're so slow. If they think your juicing and still running 15's, that's pathetic.

The pathetic thing is my Juiced 2200 probably does run 15's.. maybe high 14's..

a 5 speed OHV would run a lot better than a 15 on the spray given it has a competant driver

ok anyway i seen co2 bottles.. very cheap.. but how would i go about this.. would a "purge kit" on ebay screw to the end of the bottle?? are they compatible or how exactly would i go about connection the bottle to the line??? and how do i hook up an electronic switch to shoot it out when i push the button?? thanx

ok......get a co2 bottle, get a handvalve from a nitrous bottle or somethign.....take the co2 bottle to a welding store or something, some place that sells gases in bulk should be able to give you what you need, you need a handvalve that screws on the end of the bottle so you can turn the bottle on and off, that valve needs to have an inlet size equal to the co2 botttle and an outlet size of AN-4 (the shop you get the valve from should know what that means), then get 14-16 feet, 14 is probably enough of steel braided hose, AN-4 size, connect the hose to the purge valve that you bought using the proper fittings (plumbing store will have the right ones, or a welding store) then just install the outlet line off the solenoid to the solenoid, and wire it up as i explained earlier.
I don't mean to sound like an @!#$, but if you can't figure this out by now.......you shouldn't be playing with high pressure gases, get a professional to install it

You have head work.... I don't know how fast my 2200 but I'd rather undere stimate it then over estimate it.
You know with all the work and expense youre going to go through instaling a fake nitrous system... you'll probably be better off just getting a real one.
yup, the cost of making a fake nitrous kit is only marginally less than making a real nitrous kit with purge

Find a way to change the color of the cloud. Then you don't have to say its purging....just say its an effect. Be pretty cool i think to have a blue cloud of gas come out of a given place on your car. I don't know i'm probably talking out of my ass. But for show, if that's what you're looking for there's an idea.

dude........ive told you a hundred @!#$ times.........heres how to hook up the stupid @!#$ button to your stupid @!#$ purge
buy some wire
run one from from the battery to the switch, make sure theres a inline fuse holder in place. run a wire from the switch to the purge solenoid.........thats your power line
run the other wire from the solenoid to a ground.......i used one of the strut tower bolts.....that will ground the solenoid and complete the circuit
im sorry but if this is too complex, then you don't need to be @!#$ with high pressure gasses, and should leave it to professionals

lol i got i i got it..lol yes i was planning on puting some blue LEDS behind it anyway so the smoke would be blue. i bought a 20oz co2 bottle.. a purge kit. and like 26ft of line.. all i need is an adapter to fit the purge valve onto the co2 bottle.. should be done within a week or so then ill post pix.. any ideas of how to hold the line in the mesh so i dont have to piss with it all the time?
i dont see why you guys are hating.. alot of people including myself have lambo doors and its not a lambo same thing?.. i get it alot "a cavalier with lambo doors" as if people have never seen it before but being on this site i know its common im just saying if you dont like it dont post there are alot worse things being posted then this anyway i want mine to look like this

26 feet is a little long, but better too long than too short.
and the thing with the doors, is everone still knows its a cavy, your not pretending it is a lambo, with this purge kit thing, you are pretending you have nitrous, everyone is gonna think you have nitrous, then when you either never race, or race and lose, theyre gonna know your a fake, then you will lose all credibility, to me this fake purge is like those fake turbo sounding muffler thingeys, or the intake that looks like an intercooler. its making the car look like it has a part that it doesn't and in the end i think your not gonna like the negative feedback you will get, when its cooler, and a lot more fun to actually install a nitrous kit with a pruge valve

I'm putting a purge kit on my car. I'll be honest. If it had no visual effect I probably wouldn't do it. I know there is a performance reason for it, which i'm also looking to gain. My main reason though is it looks cool as @!#$!
Although, I am running a real nitrous kit so I think its a little different.
right.......like my purge kit, i bought it to assist the kit and mabey bring down my times.......but after seeing the crowds reaction to that huge cloud spewing out, you just hit it a few more times for fun.......its addicting
