Edelbrock Nitrous Group Purchase?
Monday, October 10, 2005 9:36 PM
Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a group purchase for the Edelbrock Nitrous System:

40-60 Additional Horsepower at the Wheels
Edelbrock Performer Nitrous Systems are a great way to get a major power
increase from your Ecotec engine. The nitrous system interfaces with the OE
fuel system and increases fuel flow to the existing fuel injectors when the
system is armed and triggered.
The Edelbrock Performer Nitrous System includes:
· 10-lb. nitrous bottle (shipped empty, powder-coated silver finish unless
noted otherwise)
· Nitrous solenoids
· Aircraft quality steel braided hose
· Nitrous filter
· Jet selection
· Aircraft quality fittings
· Switches
· Brackets
· All hardware for a complete install.

I'd like to get at least 8 people.

Let me know!

Dude go ahead, there's a ton of potential about nitrous and I see most J's getting more power to the ground than its boosted counterpart extremely cheaper than them. Only bad part is that you don't have that power at all times like a boosted motor, bt you do save more gas

Also this looks to be a Dry kit so invest in some safety parts (fuel upgrades and different protective switches)

later!

that kit is FOR ECOTECS ONLY! all the hoses are cut and set up to work on the ecotec motor only. everything has been adapted and the directions are specific to the motor.

if you want a kit for a different car get a universal kit from say NX or NOS

Yes, this is for the ecotec only. Would you guys be more interested in a universal NX wet kit?

Price on either would be about $560 shipped by the way.

ouch thats pretty extreme for a dry kit...
Even though it is especially for the ecotec i'd still rather have a wet kit and save the money

$560 really isn't a deal for a GP, Gravana sells theirs $550 everyday.

Funny. He's our distributor on this item...looks like he lowered his prices. The edelbrock system used to be listed at $584.99 plus shipping.

yeah srew that, drop it 100+ and I might consider it but if I have to pay anywhere NEAR that price I'd go with a much safer, more capable NX wet kit
