I just wanted to know the flow rating of the stock fuel injectors on a 2000 2200 chevy cavy . I have some ford 30 pound red tops iam going to put on my 97 trans am and am going to use my old stock 24 pound injectors and put them on my cavy . I am running a wai , header , 2 1/4 exhaust , underdrive crank pulley , msd coils , magnacore 8.5 wires , rsm motor mounts , aeromotive adjustable fuel pressurs regulator , and a zex 75hp shot of nitrous . I just want to be sure i am getting enough fuel , thats way I want bigger injectors . Does anyone have a et on the 1/4 mile I might get with my setup . Thanx for the help .

Well, i believe the stock injectors are around 80cc or something like 17#hr injector, and i believe the 2.4 injectors were a 24 # hr injecotor and i believe you can swap in the 2.4 injectors for the stock 2200 injecotprs, but on your 2000 i belive it has the smaller multec injector and not the bosch type like the TA does so you would need to get some injector connectors and splice them in.

With all your mods and the 75 shot on a good air night id guess to say maybe mid to high 14 with a good 60'.

in 2000 the J body went to the long style multec2 injectors. the flow on the 2200 is 19 lb/hr. the z24 injectors flow 24 lb/hr and are a popular swap for the 2200 guys. so basically your TA injectors are the right flow rate, wrong style for your 2200

I had a 75 shot of zex on my car with lots of mods and my best time was only a 15.3

since you have a 2002, you can use the 2000+ 2.4L injectors. 2003+ ecotec injectors may work. 2002 eco injectors will not work though. they are too short
