Going N2O....advice

Ok my mods thus far are intake, 59mm tb, ho intake mani, and magnaflow high flow cat. With my return before march i will be adding DC header and 2.5" exhaust with a magnaflow resonator and muffer. I have 130k on my 2.4 motor and i plan on starting doing a wet shot. Starting out at 25 so i can get a feel and bumping to a 50 and 75 if you guys think my motor can take it stock. I want to to a rmp activated system that would kick on at 3 grand and stay on till 6 so it goes off just before redline and kicks in again after the shift.

my questions are:

1. What shot do you think my motor with its miles can take if any?

2. What system to use that is pretty easy to set up an RPM activated switch.

3. When will i need to upgrade my ignition and with what?

thanks guys

im around 103000 miles on mine. i made over 94 passes down the track last year. most using nitrous. ran mostly the 50 shot. 75 a few times. then the 35. id say start with a 35. then once you get used to it move up to a bigger shot

most use Zex or NX kit.

i never did. and my car still runs great. anything above a 75 shot and get a MSD ignition. but some have made passes with a 100 shot and never had problems

Before you go and put Nitrous on your car look what it did to my engine. I am very cautious now because i had all the major percautions, colder spark plugs, MSD DIS 2, 93 octane etc. This was done by a 75 shot.

go to my car domain site for more pics...

Just do your research and dont skimp out on percautions just cause you dont have the money to buy the correct stuff...

Was that a dry kit? And if not was there a fuel pressure problem or a lack of fuel that caused detonation.....obviously something went wrong. Im getting the Gen X kit with my NX wet kit so everything is covered as far as safety.

It was a wet kit. And Zex is supposed to be a """"""""SAFE"""""""" kit too but all wet kits still have problems mixing the fuel properly... Im going to a Direct Port kit so that i will know that everything is mixed evenly.

i was thinking of a NOS wet kit since its adjustable to a 50 shot as NX is not
