This is something i'm interested in.

What kinds of gauges do you guys deem important for nitrous setups?

What are your favorite brands. Differences?
I've heard NX and Edelbrock are very nice.

How much do you guys pary for the actual NO2?

Gauges--- Nitrous Pressure
Fuel Pressure

Well there is no best really. It is all about personal preferance. Like Zex is probably the easiest to install. If I had to go with another brand I would go with NX. Just because of the success Jamal has had.

Nitrous refills usually run anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars a pound.

Nitrous Bottle Pressure, Fuel Pressure, A/F Ratio those 3 are great to have.

Cost me 40 bux to fill a 10lb bottle. I'm a HUGE fan of Nitrous Express. Good product, good service, and it sounds really cool =P

I was going to ask that too...

What happens if you spray at idle with a manual? Would the rpms shoot up without you hitting the gas?

What happens if you spray below like 3000 rpm, say at 1500? What happens then? Both at WOT and not.

spraying at idle is a very very bad idea.... its kind of like spraying at the limiter... good bye engine...

More than likely any kit you purchase will include a W.O.T. switch that will only alow you to spray when the gas is mashed to the floor. I used to get about 7-12 good passes out of my bottle with the heater. i only used mine on the street so I Don't know for sure if every run was 100% a full quarter....after that you still should get a few more runs but they will be weak compard to the first few.

If you worried about your engine, I would suggest you look into safty switches. You can run anything from a rpm window switch, fuel pressure saftey switch, oil pressure saftey switch, air/fuel saftey switch, tps switch ( wot does the same ).

To save some cash take alook at the link provided...also has a built in progressive..hmmm more juice.....
