but i mean if you dont use nitrous all that often would it not cost less, and also, isnt it better for the engine cause its not constantly putting stress on the engine like boost....

Nitrous is definately the cheaper route bar none! Anyway you put it it turns out to be cheaper.

Brand new Quality kit that can get you a decent 50-75hp increase on first install!

NX = $550shipped

Boost = $2700shipped (and that's on an FMU and FPR)

___________________________

Let's say you want to put down about 100-130hp down over stock!!

100shot jets = $15shipped

10-13psi (depending on which motor) = $1000 + (new fuel parts, internals, etc)

____________________________

Comparing them as daily drivers without using them as power adders!!

Nitrous = turns off (which = back to economical car)

Boost (depending on turbo size) = using more gas to get around town

Cost wise that's about all I can think of for now (just woke up), But when it comes to making big power, boost definately takes a huge shi% on nitrous.

O, bro, I'm all for n2O!!! Those numbers you just put it all I want! Then a nice 200 wheel on the street via a 75shot. That alone on a LSD equipped J can get you some nice 13sec sec #'s and we all know that's alot quicker than most modified 4cyl cars and most stock v8 cars which = a very fun cavalier!
