The question is, Is it ok to spray through gearshifts considering I am still at wide open throttle on my automatic. I wont activate it below 2500 or so but upshifts stay below that anyways.

i never did. but it wouldnt hurt.
all i had was a WOT switch

If you get a shift kit to up the line pressure for faster shifts you shouldn't have a problem. There is basically no delay in shifting unlike a manual trans. So jsut spay away
