Well see that's the funny thing... The reason I went with the msd digital switch was because I thought I could do exactly what you just said. Use one of the 1/2 signal wires and set it for 2 cylinders. Well when I tapped either wire for signal It for some reason would misfire like crazy on 2 cylinders. I never figured out exactly why but I tried both sgnal wires and they both produced the same result. And as if that wasn't bad enough the msd still didn't see any signal when connected to the "supposed" ecotec signal wires. Is it possible I missed somthing yes.. but I'm an electronics engineer so it's not like I have no clue how any of this works either.

So after trying about 5 different setups (and having 0 sucess) without using a tach driver I ordered the d#$ thing. Once i got the driver I had the whole setup working within 20 min.

Jarrett, so will the cav even see the track this season, or is all you time going toward that beauty in your garage? I'm gonna see how far I can go on the 50 shot. so far my best 60' is still a 2.2, so if i can get down to a 2.0 that should be fun. So if the cav isn't gonna see the track this season you interested in selling thoes aziens and steelies you got ?
Yepper, I'll sell 'em to you. How's $20 sound? They only have one season left in them. And the '52 will be a bruiser when I'm done with it, trust me.......
SOLD!

when do you anticipate the track debut will be for the 52? This is the car that was sitting in your garage when I was over there during the CNFX meet right?
Yes, It's been gutted, I welded up some rough areas in the floor, and now I'm installing a V8 to use with the factory 3 speed manual trans and 4:11 rear gears. I also bought an aluminum flywheel and performance clutch. Once that goes in, the car will be raised up again to factory height, have a front straight axle conversion (saves almost 100 lbs up front where it does no good) battery relocation, and I'll treat the car to a fresh coat of machine grey paint to really set off the Gasser theme. DOT approved slicks are also on order. With the V8 pumping out around 350 HP na, and another 200 sprayed in on slicks in a car weighing in at just over 3000 lbs, it should be a real handful. I just hope I don't break it first time out. We'll see how quick I can finish it, but I hope to be at the track in the early spring.
200 shot!!!!!! HOLY $H!^
All i can say is that's gonna be some fun. Yea man 13's isn't gonna be a problem in that car hahaha, and since you'll be RWD that car should like atco a little better too. Although your wallet woln't like the drive there. If you get to a point where you need a hand with anything just drop me a line. Is the car getting it's own deticated setup for the N2O or are you gonna salvige parts from that other Juiced car of yours?
The Z24 will stay sprayed for a little fun action on the side ( back down to a 50 shot currently). But if it wasn't an EFI kit, I might use it to add a 3rd stage to the N20 on the 'ol Chevy. I'm buying a 2 stage carbed plate kit for the '52 so I don't have to spray 200 off the line. I'll see what the max it can take off the line and add the remainder once it can hook up properly. I just hope I don't start spitting out U-joints every pass. I'm trying to sort out a plan B if the factory torque tube/ axle assembly can't take the heat. The rearend is really beefy, but I can't tell how strong the driveshaft or U-joints are until I beat them up a little. I'm keeping my eye out for a Muncie or Saginaw 4-speed and either a 12 bolt rear or Ford 9" rear in case this doesn't work. Too bad I can't use this rear with a conventional driveshaft.
