On average, what do you J-body guys run on juice?

I drove a 98 2200 cavy 5spd till I broke the tranny, and I sold it and bought a 99 accord. Yea yea, it's an import, but it's really nice and quiet and smooth and realiable. The thing is, I have header, pullies, intake, msd digital 6plus, msd digital window switch, nx efi wet single fogger kit with 75 shot, nx purge, zex bottle heater, etc etc and it runs pretty strong. I run about 14.7 when I can hook. That's on my 99 accord 4-door with an automatic. I just reverted the accord to stock so I can just be nice to it and use it as a daily driver, and I thought about buying a mid 90's z24 as a "project car" and I was thinking that I remember that the Z24's can hit 13's with a 75 shot and bolt ons, do I remember right? If so, I'm excited for my new project

bolts on and 75 of nitrous will easily get you in the 13 with a manual tranny

look up a guy named nitro, he will put a glimmer of hope into any guy with intentions of nitrous

Depending on which year Z24 he gets, he said "mid 90's" which to me is anywhere from 93 to 97 or 98. So if its a 93 or 94 Z24, it will have "wiener pushrods"

I ran 13.8 on a 75 shot with no bolt on's, lol. I couldn't hook up with the 100 shot, but still ran a 13.7. I only have an upgraded clutch to hold the power my weak factory one couldn't deal with. If you get a mid 90's Z with the 660, you should be able to juice it into the 13's if you have the 5-speed, but the 3 speed auto is worthless in those Z's.

Yea I have a 99 F23A1 accord right now and with a 75 wet shot (NX) with msd digi 6 plus ign and 4-2-1 header and msd digi window switch and obx pullies, and intake I can only get 14.7-14.9 depending on traction issues. I think high 14's is way to slow for a 75 shot with about every bolt on so I decided to retire the accord to "reliable daily driver" status and buy a 96-00 Z24 5spd. I wonder how much I'd be able to pick on up for?

I wouldn't say "easily". Easier said than done. Your gonna need a decent clutch and tire too. Even with that, theirs no gaurentee of breaking 13's.

I have a 98 2.2 liter with pacesetter header, AEM cai and 10.2mm sparkplug wires/NGKiridum plugs. What kind of quarter mile times could I get with a 50 shot? a 75? I have a $1k check coming feb 15, and I have never had nitrous in any of my cars before. I am debating on whether to do nitrous or my suspension. Also, I am coming up on 90k miles, would I have to rebuild my motor before I started squeezing? What n2o brands are you using ( i.e. zex, nos, nxexpress, etc.)? any info would be helpful. Thanks.

The MSD Digital 6 won't work on his car he needs a DIS 2.
