Need a straight answer

Has anyone ever built an Ecotec for the sole reason of throwing juice at it? I couldn't think of a single person who had a built Eco with juice. What is the biggest shot used so far on an Eco?

I got an itch and I know how to scratch it

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of times are you putting down at the track? I've seen a couple of your video's but I don't think they were with that big of a shot.

so 110 shot is the biggest that's made a good pass? Are you fully built? Where are these videos at?

So Owen is the only one to really build for spray then....very interesting indeed. Makes my plans a lot easier actually.

Instead of polluting this thread with my questions I sent you a PM.

I'd say you're probably right. What do you have up your sleeve?

whose is this?
i know he doesn't go a full 1/4 before he "melted a spark plug" but thats a fast eco.
and it seems built.

holy hell thats extremely rich for a 110 shot.

2.6 60 foot? get that down to a 2.1 and you'll be into the 13's real easy but im sure you know that

How are you NOT running 1.9 60' times with 100+ shot of N2O? I'm gonna guess street tires.
I pulled 2.4's with an almost stock 2200!!

I could pull 2.1 and 2.2 60's in my stock 2200 all day long, back in the day....

Hypsy, interested to see what ya come up with, g/l.

Nitrous is kinda something forgotten over the past years on here, most ppl just boost ecos by way of GM charger or turbo because its so easy and theres less threat to the motor

its been a long time since ive saw someone dedicated to a true nitrous setup

I ran a 150 for about 2 gears lol. I was planning to build for juice then I said @!#$ it and boosted it.

Holy crap!! Curtis I did not know that. So, you ran a 150 shot on a stock bottom end? Not sure by the way it's worded

I guess I will have to take over where Owen left off (and Skunk, if I read that right). Getting my quote for 10.6 CR .20 overbore pistons now. Might be a year before it completely come together, but after studying this will be my setup:

*10.6 pistons with a .20 overbore
*Eagle H-beam rods
*Patriot head
*Direct port N2O - 150+

A lot of other stuff I'm leaving out as of right now. But, 11s shouldn't be a problem

Ran a 14.256 on a 75 shot b4 I took my kit off, and that was spinning through up to halfway into 2nd gear on street tires. That was stock everything aside from a homemade warm air intake, transmission mounts, lower mount, and b & m short shifter. Maybe once I get my finances straightened back out I'll start over with my original idea for a built n2o cavy. Heres to hoping...

there is a 2.4 car in the classifieds right now that was built for nitrous. only running a 75 shot but says it put down over 300.

If I had a built motor, i'd be throwing some juice at it.
That would be a lot of fun!

Suncavi was running juice on his built for boost Ecotec last year. Thing is with him you can't never get a straight answer out of him. We were guessing at least a 125 shot, but could have been as much as 150.
