Ok i like the sound of mbquarts, they seem to have a nice warm midrange on them and good high extension. But now that they are made by fosgate i am a little worried about the quality. Are there any other better brand of speakers that have about the same kinda sound as mb quart? I am using infinity reference 6002i's right now and am not at all impressed with the sound of the speakers, way to pitchy. Give me some ideas please!
Unless I missed something, they aren't made by RF. They are still the same company they were before, still located in Germany; well, the headquarters; and are still made by the same people, in the same factories as before.
check out that web page, rockford does in fact own them. I never really have liked rockford products for some reason or another, too man friends that have had complaints about them. Mb quart is still being produced in a different plant, but has anyone noticed a degradation in quality from 1999 to present in mb quart speakers?
Yes, I know RF owns them. But the basics of the company are the same. Like I said, they are still made in the same place, by the same people, with the same materials as before. The quality shouldn't have changed one bit.
ive used mb quart speakers since 1998. rockford doesnt own them the company that owns rockford also owns mb quart. i wouldnt worry about their quality, they are still pretty seperate as far as ive ever known.
Don't worry bra... Ihave run MB since I firsts started my audio escapades...it's ahelluva brand....just cuz they're owned by RF doesn't mean a thing....go foes it man I can't say enough good things
