thats what i'm planning on doing. when i got the cav i transferred my head unit and sub/amp from my celica. just stuffed in a cheap 30 dollar wal mart stereo in the celica and off she went. i've got too much invested in my cav's audio to leave it there when i get rid of the car.

Still not done either, i've got lots of plans and most of the labor i do myself, all the installs were done by me, i build most of my own boxes, and do all my own fiberglass work. otherwise i would easily have twice as much money in my system....man thats shocking to see just how much i've put into my system....

Custom built to the car fiberglass box painted to match the car that hold 3 RF HX2 12" subs with a audiobahn 2400HT (499.99 on ebay is the cheapest i've seen)with all wires. the whole thing costed me 500.00, The rear deck speakers are kicker 6x9 not sure which model (came in the car) and i have the stock RF headunit. So i have spent a whole 500.00 on my complete system. Granted when i have money im gonna do others things like junk the subs for new and better ones, and get a good headunit.
