I went pretty well compared to when I tried to split my bastard box. The glue hadnt completely set up so i got a slim crow bar between one section and started splitting it all the way around.

Sub and box are possible going to a coworker along with the Bostons or Memphis speakers. Kick panels are pending. So Ill be getting ready to go in a new direction once my trunk is empty and my bank account is full

Decided to stay SPL.

Sale fell through on the sub and box since my friend bought a single cab S10 and theres no way in hell its gonna fit in there. But on the bright side, he's going to split a roll of 1/0 with me when he gets and amp and sub.

Still going to get those Rainbow components though.

I really need to get the car on a TL sometime soon.

You probably won't need to build pods to fit the SLC woofers.

Im more concerned about needing to to keep the woofer and tweeter close incase the tweeter wont fit in the stock Sunfire position. Or I might just to occupy myself.

I have a my set of c2's in my doors and the tweeter is mounted in the stock sunfire position its a 1.625 in in diameter with the flush mount..i copied the table below from JL's Website...
The mids are mounted with a 3/4 mdf disk around them and i cut out the middle "grill" in between the outside and the mid.
let me know if you want pics...they were pretty deep lol

Tweeter PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Flush Mount Fixture Diameter (A) 1.87 in. / 47.5 mm
Flush Mount Trim-Ring Diameter (B) N/A
Flush Mount Mounting Hole Diameter (C) 1.625 in. / 41.3 mm
Flush Mount Mounting Depth (D) 0.76 in. / 19.3 mm
Surface Mount Fixture Diameter (E) 1.69 in. / 42.9 mm
Surface Mount Protrusion (F) 0.92 in. / 23.4 mm
