Well my grandfather gave me a head unit a Sony Xplod. just the head unit no wiring. I look up what i would need to put it in. There seems to be lot of confusion out there. I know the door chimes will no longer work, which i don't really care about. But what harness would i need, links or pics would help a lot, and do i need an antenna adapter?

Schosche GM035- thats what I used in my '04 cavalier, and it comes w/ an antenna adapter.

yes, use a fuse for a circuit that switches on with the ignition

Try the wiper fuse.

I was looking at pics of the same radio (stock) that is in the car now it looks like there's 2 plug ins. Looks like a 32 prong and a 8 prong. How hard is it to fuse tap and tut out there?
