As for tweeter mounting if you get a component set, they come with flush mounts and it would be as simple as getting a hole saw the right size for a tight compression fit, and they come with clamps as well. Door panel, dash, a pillar mounting etc. OR you could simply use the surface mounts that bolt onto the dash in whatever corner or location you pick.

yeah a simple piece of wood cut to shape will make it quite easy to fit a componet set in the front doors. and sound allot better. don't worry to much about rear speakers. spend your money on the front speakers and amp and then look into a sub so you can get all of the music.
