abs question

not sure where to put this but can you disable abs threw hp tuners? im fine leaving the stuff there but can i get the crap turned off so the lights dont come on the dash?

Yes hook it up to a tac 2 or whatever computer you use with the obd 2 adapter and read your codes. i know with Tac-2's and Snap-on readers You can tell the computer to shut off the light. It may come back on but just hook it back up and shut it off again.

conversely, fix the issue and you won't have to shut the light off.

pull the abs fuse and cover the light up with tape. Simple enough. I personally would get it fixed.

I have over 2000 hours working for Gm as a mechanic on my Ontario Youth Apprenticeship
And i am currently in the Canadian Navy In school as an Electronics Technition.


2000 hours working for GM as a mechanic and don't even know what their scan tool is called? Yikes!

The abs light means that the abs is doing what it's supposed to. Nothing
