Do your OEM speaker wire harness plugs have 4 wires each?
Right side-Drk Blu, Lt Blu, Drk Grn, Lt Blu/Blk?
Left side-Brn, Ylw, Drk Blu/Wht, Lt Grn/Blk?/b]

He has a z24, if i'm correct here, he should only have two wires, only the sunfires came with monsoon systems right? It should just be wiring up the factory wires to the speakers.

OP- You can't change how the tweeters hook up on those. not unless they have a removable tweeter which i doubt... Just wire them up.

pics have to be hosted online somewhere, JBO doesn't allow you to upload them here. Just put them online somewhere and use the image location to put them on here (use the little photo button (its right below the S in subject when your typing in the reply box) it will bring up a little box that says enter url or something. put address in and preview before you post to make sure its gonna work.

And as for your car i didn't think any of the cavaliers came with a factory amp but i guess i can be wrong. You will have to choose between the highs and lows then. you can't have both while using the amp.

is it possible to bypass the amp// or cut the wires before the amp, and run from there?.. and thanks for the pic info.. does kicker make 6x9 componet speakers? or what good quality 6x9s can i buy that will wire in?

I think you can if you find the right wires, but the stock headunit won't power the kickers like they should. idk if they make components or not, i haven't looked into new audio stuff lately. you can sure look.

You're best bet is to go with component speakers.
I don't know if Kicker makes any, but other companies do.
Just search online.

And you could bypass the OEM amp but you'd need to wire in an after-market amp to power your co-ax speakers.

Do you have a factory deck or aftermarket?

Unfortunately, that means you don't have much for options.

The "best" option would be to desolder the crossover on the speaker itself. Like the image I posted in the other thread.

Aside from that, the next option is an aftermarket deck + rewire.

Or you could have your rears play just mid or just treble.
