Dual power wires?
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 11:33 PM
I have three 6 gauge power wires just sitting around collecting dust. Instead of buying a new 0 gauge power wire, could i just run all 3 of my 6 gauge power wires back? I only have 1 amp back there right now, but soon i will have 2 more amps for more speakers, and a set of subs. So if i have roughly 2000 watts worth of amps back there, would that work?

Works in theory.

In theory maybe, but if you do it i would suggest checking your amperage. Personally i think it sounds jankly and i would just fork over the whole 15-20 dollars for the proper wire.

In theory it would work fine, but having one with less connections also means less chance of problems.
