okay i like to listen to my stereo when the car is off but i have it wired the normal way but what i want to do is wire it with my parking lights so that it turns it off and on instead of when the car is in acc. now i would assume the easiest way to do this would to be just tap the parking light wire and run put it to where the 12v switched is and disconect the stock switched 12v source. im pretty sure that this will work but just wanted some confirmation before i start splicing factory wiring. also this is going in a 98 eclipse GST not my cav if that matters any.

No this will not work because if you think about it if you replace the other 12v switched with your parkoing lights. how will the radio turn on if your car is on in the day time with out the parking lights? But if you splice the wire from the parking lights into the wire that is your stock 12v switched this will work. I hope that you have a good battery tho
