5 ch. amp question....
Thursday, February 17, 2005 3:34 PM
ok guys i just accuried a 5 ch. amp and a set of subs that is already setup for the amp.... (2 10's).. My question is though if i dont hook up anything to the other 4 ch. will it send all the power from them to the sub channel (5th ch.)??? I would use the other four channels but dont have speakers yet that can hold that much power....

also isn't there a way to test rms or something on each channel with a vlotmeter????

thanks for all of you help in advance.....

the only way you'll get more power is if you bridge the channels you aren't using together with the cannels you are using.

if a channel isn't hooked up, that power doesn't get used.
