i installe one of these on my intercooler pipe right before the manifold and im getting a check engine light p0113 which is high voltage iat sensor any ideas for me?

Check to see if the little sensor is there. I have gone through 3 of these damn things, the little temp thing keeps getting sucked in. My resolve, I bought an AEM AIT screw in sensor that comes with the bung, new pigtail and its way better.

I got that code all of the time.

alright maybe ill take it out and check . it has only ran for like 20 minutes and only drove it for like 3 minutes and only got on it a little but i will see. maybe i shouldnt have made the sensor sit in the pipe so far. but i hope that is the problem.

well turns out that on of the wires came out for the pigtail side of the clip all set now. no more check engine lights")

MSD Makes one two thats threaded comes with pigtail but plugs right into out factory harness for $20 bucks been running it for about 4 years no issues.

got any links to it or anything? maybe if i have any more issues i will swap over....

Boosted cars need a threaded IAT sensor so boost pressures don't pop it out of the intake you can get an IAT sensor from Autozone, made by wells, part number SU107, you need a 5/8 drill bit and a 3/8-18 NPT tap to mount the sesonr, it plugs into stock wiring harness, no wiring required (At least on an 04). 3/8NPT is not literally a 3/8" thread. It a pipe thread where the ID of the pipe would be 3/8". His original info looks spot on to me.....

Anybody have a updated part number? when I looked it up it does not show a threaded Iat. And the MSD Iat I can not find it at all. Summit does not carry it.
