Fuel Line Connector - Quick Connect - FYI

If anyone struggled to find the correct fuel line quick-connects for their GM here's a tip.

When replacing your fuel pump or tank, if you just want to replace your steel to nylon fuel hose connectors due to rust see below. This can really save you some money and time, and keep the serviceability.

1998 pontiac sunfire 2.2
Supply uses 3/8" connector to 3/8" hose (steel fuel line is 3/8")
Return uses 5/16" hose to 1/4" connector (steel fuel line is 1/4")

Fuel Supply - Dorman 800-059 GM/Chrysler nylon fuel line repair kit - 3/8" line with barb to 3/8" quick connect - follow instructions heat water to 160 degrees, soak the line and push on the barb.

Fuel Return - Napa 730-4916 - Ford Nylon fuel line repair kit - 1/4" connector with 5/16" nylon line - same as above but it seems like the barb was a little small so I used some clamps just in case.

I believe Dorman also makes the Ford return above.

Correction on the Return line - 5/16" hose with 5/16" quick connect. Buy the GM/Chrysler 5/16" hose and 5/16" connector.

The 1/4" quick connect is for the evap canister connection.
