Hoping it clears my hood of course LOL
if it doesnt... ill buy it!!!! hahahahahaha
very nice, mark. should be a nice product for the m62 boys.
wade, whip out you're funds. get that blower even cooler!

I must confess... I feel like a monster!
Im ready to buy if OEM has mine made and the bumps gone so it looks like the gasket.

The spacer needs to cut like the oem gasket. Theres no point for it to be that wide. Oem I'll send u a stock gasket for u you to use. For the Eco guys it needs to be cut like the oem gasket

PM me a address to send this thing too, incli i have a spare one laying around, the reason behind this is the intake manifold...our intake manifold inlet is the same size as the blower outlet
^^^ thats a quick Ms paint of what i mean with your gasket being wider than the SC outlet and manifold inlet for the ecotec...or if you still have a m62 laying around, the outlet of the SC is the square the triangle is in, the 2 on the right dont matter, just like highligted in red, the gasket should take that form...
ps.. sorry for any misspelling, tuning my car for a smaller pulley so im in a hurry
I agree on the fact of the spacer being the same as the gasket. For people like me who show ALOT the extra material sticking out will look pretty bad
Now we still need to figure out the bypass for the Eco guys. Maybe a phenolic spacer same thickness as the manifold one. It would have to be ring shaped. And shaped exactly like the blower bypass port. Just throwing things out there. It's ur product after all
What is this talk about the spacer not matching the gasket? I thought you were using the stock gasket as a template?

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
So then whats the deal? Are you waiting on a gasket to make changes to the design so that the spacer will match the gasket or what? Obviously I only want one if it matches blower perfectly. I am very picky about my car.

Wade u have a coupler for ur bypass so u don't need the o ring. The Eco guys do. U should be good with just the spacer. I'd check the owing for u but I don't plan on taking blower off anytime soon. Dob u'll find a good replacement, it's not just a o ring, it's a o with a tab and sor of parallel ribs going on the outside to hold it in place. Hard to explain.

I am well aware of how mine is setup. I wound up pulling the blower off the day I picked the car up.
My concern has nothing to do with the O-ring. Refer to the above picture you posted. OEM said the difference is that his is the same width on both sides. Now take a look at the picture that you posted. See how the base of the blower on the left side is wider than the right. That is what I am talking about.

Ah yeah that matters for u too :p oem should make the spacer like the m62 flange and stock gasket. I know zzp makes a phenolic spacer for my intake mani gasket. Could c about them making a m62 one

it's the same superchager as the cobalt one hence zzp makes an m62 one already. wade has a different manifold due to his being for an ld9 motor and not an ecotec. zzp wouldn't have the specs for wade's or OEM's manifold.

Wade m62 flange is exactly like OEM(original equiptment) in the ecotec. So if they make a phenolic spacer for a m62 it will fit wades. Although I doubt they have a ld9 intake manifold gasket. But like I said the m62 flange Vulcan used is just like the ecotecs. I'll post proof in a sec
see how vulcans manifold is just like the gasket for the m62...compare to previous pics I posted.

so you are saying in OEM's thread you are going to ask zzp to make this same phenolic spacer?

I could careless who makes it. I have no vendor loyalties for little things. Long as it gets made right.

updated for you.
i know someone is going to do the math and be like that doesn't add up. the inner hole has a lip to it so if a spacer is needed, it needs to fit outside of that lip.

Agreed, I'm curious if there has been any progress on this? I contacted zzp about making one as well. Hopefully this makes it to market by spring.
