Hmmm,I'm pretty sure I sent an e-mail and I know in the past Paypal sends an e-mail notifying that you recieved money. So for now I'll remain a little skeptical. When you scan and post clearly marked (LD9) and dated flow charts we should be all cleared up.

Mike,
When the numbers come in I would still be willing to run them in Desktop Dyno for you guys, providing someone can send me LD9/HO/W41 cam information.
This make it to the machine shop yet?
I'm curious to play around with this in desktop dyno.....I would like to see how the flow numbers compare to a Eco.
I'm sure the 2.4 guys are antsy to see numbers too!
it just went today actually, should be done by mid next week

Subscibed, I might need some LD9 headwork this spring, getting set up for a W41 cammed LD9
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Good to hear mike!
Anyone have any quad 4 cam specs???
I'll need them if anyone wants me to run this.
How much for the following and I have both 00 LD9 and 086 heads for a fully built turbo setup.
street ported head
street/strip head
full race head
pricing for all 3 stages....... 600.00/ 775.00/ 950.00

Not bad at all, do those prices include flow numbers?

what's a ballpark for shipping back and forth on a head? it's gotta be insane.
UPS from Wichita,Ks. to Suprise,Az. was $22.47 one way (head, valves, and springs)...

well damn. that's not bad at all. maybe i'll b looking into this sooner than imagined.....
usually shipping one of our heads is under 25 bucks to pretty much everywhere in the states. ive shipped them to a lot of places and the price has always been around 25.

my prices include shipping back to u. also those prices are accurate for one way shipping with no insurace but i UPS everything with insurance for the dollar amount paid so my shipping for a race ported head comes to around 50.00-60.00 i usually have UPS pack it up for me.
and no that does not include flow numbers, they are 80.00 extra as i outsource for those

Alright, either way that's a pretty good price.

i try to make them fairly priced. i remember back in the day before i got into this stuff looking at prices for porting and fabricated parts, holy ish was it expensive, some stuff still is by certain companies but i try and do better then everbody else. some stuff i cant though cause of the amount of time and parts i put into them.

ive got some questions...
the full race version, would this be good for n/a? or would velocity suffer too much to work well?
mike, could you please explain you're definition of 'quench'?
thanks.

Brad,
From what Mike has explained the Full Race head just has larger ports than the Street/Strip version.
The larger ports will shift your powerband higher, however yeild more power.
For instance, my car makes peak HP at 6900rpm with my set-up with a stock head. When I use the numbers for Mike's Full Race ported head it bumps peak HP to ~7500rpm, but also makes ~40bhp more than the stock head.
Once Mikes gets the flow numbers up I can run both heads on identical set-up's and overlay the graphs so you will get a good idea where the power is shifting from/to.
newt, what kind of added power were you seeing in the 3-6000 rpm range?
Usually race heads have sharper valve seats and things like that, so they don't last as long though don't they?

blucavy - PM me with a better description of what your looking for and I'll get the numbers for you.
transporter - As far as I know Mike does the same valve machining on all the heads. I'll let him answer tho since im not 100% sure.
