99+ injectors

What injectors fit 99-02 LD9s? I know they are high imp, but not sure of the size (physical, not flow rate) I thought someone told me a while back mustang injectors would swap in. True?

Im running ford green tops in my 99. I did have to change the injector clips to run these, got the clips from a 97 or 98 cav

I have a 96 LD9 I'll be putting in a 99+, so the injectors would need swapped to high imp ones. I'll need some in the 80-90lb range.

You sure you need that high?

Your registery shows you have 450's? I believe you can run resistors to run the low imp injectors. I might be wrong but I thought I saw this done before.

80lb would support 400whp which would eventually be the goal. I believe the 450's would top out at around 225whp with 80% duty cycle. I made a post about the resistor thing a few weeks back and it seemed to be confirmed that you can do that, but really if I'll be upgrading to larger ones anyways, mind as well get the proper ones.

On a side note, the stock oiling system is pretty weak, right? Not enough to help support 350-400whp? Know of any posts about doing the 2.3 oil pump conversion?

It all depends on the overall system. Fuel pressure will help determine as well.

as for the oiling system, well everyone has different thoughts. I have seen a stock oiling system make 350-400whp. I wouldn't try to take a stock oiling system with 130k to that.

I realize this is old, but which injectors did you end up going with? I'm looking for an alternative to the 725cc Injector Dynamics injectors, incase the GP falls through. I've thought about Deatschwerks injectors but i can't find physical dimensions on any.

I'm going to be running RC engineering 750cc injectors. They are nearly the same size as stock ld9 injectors but I will be using a modded rail so it won't matter if they are slightly shorter. I will have to repine the connectors to the older style though but that's easy.

I ended up getting Siemens Deka injectors. 835cc. There were black with a blue tip. They had EV6 connectors, but I happen to have a harness from a 96 LD9 which also used EV6 connectors, so I just used those pig tails and called it a day.

Excellent, thanks man. I wasn't too sure what some of the higher hp guys were using aside from RC. Quick question though, why didn't you go with EV1 style connectors?
