Quick question on boost and no tune.
Wednesday, August 01, 2012 9:47 AM
Will I be able to drive my car to get it tuned after I get all this hahn stage 2 stuff on it? The waste gate is set at 8psi... I do have 630cc injectors that will be going on so I'm not worried about duty cycle, just the stock ecm keeping up. Also do have an AEM wideband, so if an answer can't be figured out, I'll just shoot for gold and watch to see if I go lean.

Thanks.

Do you plan to install the 630cc injectors and *then* drive it to your tuner?

If yes then the quick answer to your question is hell no. lol

You won't be worried about how well it drives because I guarantee it won't even turn over and start.

Ahh, so if I switch out the injectors when I get there then?

If you can stay off the throttle (i.e. stay out of boost), you should be fine driving it to your tuner with stock injectors.

I have no signiture
