most people run 2" charge pipes on the saab setup, some run 2.5" The compressor outlet on the turbo is only 2" I believe. I'm using a cxracing intercooler that is 28x7x2.5. Fits just fine behind the stock bumper. That size goes for roughly $70 all day long on ebay. I've had mine since 09 and haven't had any issues.
Most of this info has been posted numerous times throughout this forum. I'd advise you to take some time and read a lot, before jumping into a turbo project. Once you've done your research, members on this forum are more likely to help. Good luck with the project.
i 3rd that 28x7x2.5 fits perfect... im upgrading to 31x12x3 making a steel brace across instead of the bulky bumpre support..
