Way better in my book. My L61 head failed due to porosity... not stress, not pressure, just fatigue.... thats what upsets me about the L61 head. bad ass head just went to crap. The lsj one is a lot nicer as well as in my opinion looks better too.

the timing sets are the same for LSJ and L61 so i dont see why one would be scared to time it the same as the L61 the only dif would be the cams

this is all so mind boggling. i have so much to look into now that I can look at LSJ stuff..infact I can get LSJ head/parts for damn near free if not completely free.

so is my cam upgrade not even worth it then? Ive got some JBP Stage 2's ive aquired for my set of 18" Katanas i had.

Stage 2 2.2L ECOTEC
Duration @ .050*, Valve Lift
INTAKE 228*, 446
EXHAUST 232*, 448

you can use whatever cams you want. LSJ, L61.... either will work. aftermarket cams are aftermarket cams... they will always help if properly tuned for.

Just dont expect to use an LSJ cam in a L61 head unless you can cut it off? IDK
