I also only touched a little bit on this. The problems were mine/lost foam casting. Only problems I have ever had was the head failing then the tensioner. Never had a problem with the motor not holding power or boost.
207 whp for me on a conservative tune with a 3.1 I/h/e, cobra heat exchanger, lightened crank pulley and flywheel.
Shooting for a 2.8, 60s, and a racetronix before it goes on the rollers again (in addition to the s3/dual pass/ oem spacer that went on the car recently)
so i think i can expect int eh 220 to 230ish range then.

Well before the 05 was wrecked it dynoed 231hp and 215tq in 07. Back in 09 I ran a best 13.77@104 all on the gm reflash, zzp 3.1 pulley, cobalt lsj pacesetter header, full 2.5" exhaust and aem cai, cobra he.

thats only .16ish faster then my best run on the 3.0 pulley. I only got one run that night because i didnt have a helmet. I had a terrible launch, and missed second, then missed 4th at the end of the track trying to super short shirt to not lose speed or momentum. i ran a 13.93 with a 2.00 60 foot at 99.85MPH.
looks like our only really difference is the exhaust, im on a 2.25 inch right now. did you have fuel pressure bumped up at all?
No fuel pressure changes. I did see a drop of about 2 psi when I put the 2.5" exhaust on tho. And u also have to look at the trap speed. 5 mph is a big difference. My car would almost always run over 100mph in the 1/4. Just had to get my shifts right and launches. I have YouTube vids of the 13.7 and 13.99 and the cars still spun on launches.
