i have a 2.4 99 z24 cavi with 190k on it
it was well maintained and runs great
i was wondering with the stock 12-1 compression will a m92 s/c work on it?
and i was told it can not be a m62 is this right?
and i have 1 i can get from a used wrecking yard for $200 of a 3800 v6 will this work and how do you tell the differce from a m62 and a m92?
and what else will need to be changed from stock?(like t/b t/b linkage belts hose and what ever i/j)

I am no LD9 expert, but 12:1 compression sounds quite high.
The 3800 S/C had both the M62 and M90(there isnt a M92). The M90 is a larger blower than the M62.
You'll have to custom fabricate the whole system. Intake manifold, serpentine belt system, heat exchanger system, throttle body mounting, throttle body brackets, everything.

Robby, listen man, this is obviously way over your head. If you would have searched a little on the interwebz you could have found your answers. But instead you made a thread asking a question that's been asked alot, wasted server space.

Thanks for your time.

Yeah dood you really don't even know. 2.4's have 9.5:1 - 9.7:1 cr stock. And being a stock 190k motor its definitely not a good idea to boost, even if it runs so good.

Have a nice day.
