Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
Thanks for the comments guys, Each day i work on the car i get more excited to see it all come together.
Brain: That is the Engineered Performance Full LSD. They are great people over there and sent the correct thrust bearing out next day. I got the bearing yesterday and it fit perfectly. Got the transmission pretty much fully assembled now, just to put the filter, lower servos and oil tubes in along with the pan and then it will be done.
Also having the turbo fitting welded into the oil pan this week. More updates to follow

Looks like a LSD insert, like Team Green does.

Kind of what I thought too. I figured a "Full LSD" would be a helical one like a Quaife. But it should do you well enough.
Keep up the good work.

Update Time:
Well the motor is about 97% done. Just got home from seeing it. Head is on, oil pan is on, the complete bottom end is all done and sealed up. The Cometic head gasket was sprayed with a copper sealant before being installed. Head studs are torqued. Going to get a oil filter to prime the motor before i bring it home. I bought ARP Flywheel bolts, another Wilwood Brake kit, and the front Wilwood lines. The brake kit and lines should be here this week. Once the motor is back at my house, it will need to be painted, all the accessories, (water pump, power steering etc.) needs to be bolted up, turbo feed and return lines need to be made, and all that before the motor will go in. I hope to buy front axles and wheel hubs soon to install the transmission before the motor is ready.
On to the pics, everyone loves pictures!

Good to hear!
Straight open dump on the wastegate?
Just. Heads up so nothing happens to the motor. Make sure you check the pushrods and make sure they don't rub on the headgasket. We noticed this on our commetic after the first startup. Had Go pull the head, and mod the h/g a bit, replace the pushrod and re assemble. I'll see if I can find the thread when I'm not on my cell. Should be #4 cyclinder iirc.
I've heard of those GSP axles popping out of 4t40e's. When I sold my Sunfire to my friends gf, he put a new GSP in it and it popped out on a bump about two weeks later. There's some reviews on the Advance website with people having it happen too.
They make the trans end stub too short and the clip doesnt seat right into the trans or something. Maybe it was just a bad batch of them but just something to look out for.
Brian:
Funny thing, the GSP axles were for a 3 speed auto so i had to exchange them today and received ToughOne axles instead. I have pictures below.
Update:
Today was a very successful day for the cav. Got most of the front end buttoned all up. Got the transmission in the car, new axles, hubs, Wilwood brake kit and line kit all installed. I made new brake lines in front from the line kit to the proportioning valve as well. Also made a new support bracket from the frame to radiator support on the driver side. Pictures below.

I really like the silver color on the trans.
Side note: GSP and ToughOne axles are the same. Haha. Advance just started rebranding all of their stuff for "brand consistency" right before I quit there.
Brian:
I figured the axles were made in the same plant. They seemed to go in and lock in no problem. After reading your comment I wanted to make sure about it. Hopefully these axles wont pop out. As the pictures show, they seem "beefier" by a little bit than the stock axles were. They beat the price of aftermarket axles for 800 and 1300 bucks any day though.

That new support bar design looks very familiar .....
how did you fit the rear wilwoods on? was this the Bobby Higgens bracket?
Bobby's car was where i first saw it. The piece I used was actually a shifter cable for a Mach truck if I'm not mistaken, or something of that nature. I had it laying around and it was the same length so all I had to do was make a spacer for the frame.
As far as the rear Wilwood brakes, it is a front kit. I made a bracket that bolts onto the back of the hub to hold the caliper bracket and caliper assembly. The car is auto so I wasnt worried about an e-brake and I have a line-loc installed as well. Because it is a front kit, all the proper backspacing and offset for the rotor was spot on. The bracket was pretty simple to make. Basically straight piece, no angles with 4 holes in it. Of course i cleaned up the edges and made it look nice, but pretty simple none the less.

Jason I got back to you the other day.
Small update: I picked up the motor, its all done and ready to go besides fresh paint and accessories. Still waiting on the valve cover as well.
Also was able to run the transmission cooler lines to the front cooler, and did alittle more wiring. More to come
