I searched and found nothing. Is there a C.A.R.B. approved turbo or supercharger kit for a 98 2.2 ?

No, sorry

Only CARB legal boost for the J's is the GM supercharger kit for 00+ 2.4

Oh, reason being CARB certification takes a long time and is EXTREMELY expensive, its much easier for autoparts manufacturers just to put a label on it saying "off road use only" and leave it at that.

yeah I think that is why there are so many old skools in Kali. You used to be able to pay to pass emissions, but nowadays it is damn near impossible to get around them.
I used to buy a lot of off road only parts for my RX-7, but I learned my lesson and all of the parts I've installed on my cav are carb legal( i.e. AEM CAI, Pacesetter header, etc. meaning I don't have to keep installing, and un-installing them.)

if jackson racing makes a kit for a ford, then maybe if I write them, they will make a kit for an older chev.
