i have a b.e.g.i. rising rate regulator and i read on some web sites that you should set the idle with the vacuum line left on the manifold. then i have also read on sites that you should always take off the vacuum line. now there is a difference in about 60 psi of idle pressure on mine. so what is the correct way. i would assume to tune it with the line attachted assuming you do have a check valve.

Vacuum line on and vehicle running = normal idle

Vacuum line off and vehicle running = NA WOT
